We are looking for a QA Lead who doesn’t just "find bugs" but ensures the soul of the product remains intact. We are building a high-traffic media product where the "feel"—the transitions, the snappiness, and the content integrity—is everything.

You won't just report that a screen is blank; you will dive into the logs, check the API response, and tell the devs exactly why it’s happening.

What You’ll Do (The Outcomes)

• Own the "Product Feel": You are the final gatekeeper for UX polish. You’ll audit micro-interactions, scrolling physics on our hybrid apps, and layout fidelity across Web and Mobile.

• Master the Data Pipeline: Validate the flow from our WordPress CMS (ACF/WP-JSON) through the API layer to the final user UI. You’ll ensure that when content is published, it looks perfect everywhere.

• Lead Technical Root Cause Analysis (RCA): When a bug is found, you go deep. You’ll use Charles Proxy, Sentry, and Browser DevTools to pinpoint if the issue is a CSS quirk, a cached API response, or a WordPress configuration error.

• Hybrid Ecosystem Oversight: You will manage the complexities of a hybrid environment, ensuring the app performs reliably across iOS and Android wrappers (Capacitor/React Native/Cordova).

• Performance Benchmarking: You’ll be responsible for keeping our Core Web Vitals in the green and ensuring our mobile apps feel native and responsive, even on mid-range devices.

The Technical Arsenal (Required Skills)

• Mobile Debugging: Expert-level use of Xcode/Android Studio logs and Safari/Chrome remote inspection for hybrid apps.

• API & Backend: Deep experience with Postman/Insomnia, JSON Schema validation, and investigating REST/GraphQL endpoints.

• CMS Familiarity: Understanding of WordPress data structures (ACF, Gutenberg) and how they map to headless frontends.

• Network & Logs: Proficient with proxy tools (Charles/Fiddler), log aggregators (Sentry/Cloudwatch), and browser network traces (.har files).

• Automation Strategy: Ability to define "happy path" E2E tests (Playwright, Appium, or similar) to protect regression-heavy media flows.
