About the Role

At RunCode, we are building the next generation of connected mobility platforms that power corporate fleet sharing and digital vehicle management.
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a telematics-integrated corporate car-sharing platform. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional product teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient distributed systems.

This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in building IoT-driven systems, microservice architectures, and data-intensive applications that deliver real-time intelligence to enterprise users.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimize RESTful and event-driven APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, implement schemas with Sequelize ORM, and integrate caching and messaging layers using Redis and NATS.

• Collaborate with frontend engineers to seamlessly integrate APIs into a Next.js-based web platform, ensuring rich user experiences.

• Implement robust monitoring and tracing solutions using Grafana, Jaeger, Prometheus, and Node-RED for system health and diagnostics.

• IoT & Telematics: Telematics APIs, IoT data ingestion and processing

• Monitoring & Debugging: Node-RED, distributed tracing, metrics-driven optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and scaling microservices or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of real-time data pipelines, message queues, and container orchestration.
