About the role
We’re hiring a strong full-stack engineer who doesn’t just write code — but architects products, databases, and systems end-to-end. You will design, build, and scale modern web platforms across NestJS backends and Next.js frontends, with deep ownership of architecture, performance, reliability, and long-term scalability.
What You’ll Do
Product Architecture
- Design and evolve modular, scalable product architectures that support rapid feature development and long-term maintainability
- Own feature lifecycles end-to-end: design → build → deploy → monitor → optimize
- Architect contract-driven, type-safe systems using advanced TypeScript and runtime validation
- Drive frontend architecture in Next.js (SSR/SSG/ISR) with strong SEO and Core Web Vitals performance
Database Architecture
- Design scalable, reliable database schemas aligned with product and system growth
- Optimize queries, indexing strategies, transactions, and caching layers for high performance
- Architect data flows for real-time systems, async job queues, and event-driven processing
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance under production-scale workloads
System Architecture
- Architect distributed, cloud-native systems using AWS and Infrastructure as Code (CDK/Terraform)
- Build and scale REST APIs, WebSocket-based real-time systems, and background processing pipelines
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and compliance-ready system designs
- Design for observability, resilience, reliability, and production-grade monitoring
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with NestJS, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Deep backend fundamentals: databases, transactions, APIs, async processing
- Strong frontend architecture skills with React and modern state management
- Experience designing AWS-based production systems and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability to debug and improve real production systems
- High ownership mindset — you architect systems and ship outcomes, not just code
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time systems, search (Elastic/OpenSearch), payments, or CMS platforms
- Strong testing culture and observability practices
- Mentoring experience or technical leadership capability
