We are building a vibrant, community-first platform where real-time interaction, content sharing, and seamless user experiences are at the core of everything we do. We’re looking for a Fullstack Flutter Developer who can own the entire feature lifecycle—from crafting beautiful, fluid mobile interfaces to designing the scalable GraphQL schemas and Node.js microservices that power them.
What You'll Do
- Cross-Platform Mobile Excellence: Develop and maintain high-performance, visually consistent applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.
- GraphQL API Design: Architect and implement flexible GraphQL APIs (using Apollo Server or Yoga) to provide a unified data layer for complex community interactions.
- Scalable Backend Logic: Build and deploy robust microservices in Node.js (TypeScript) to handle business logic, authentication, and third-party integrations.
- Real-time Features: Implement real-time community features (chat, live notifications, activity feeds) using GraphQL Subscriptions or WebSockets.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage services on AWS, leveraging AppSync, Lambda, and DynamoDB/PostgreSQL to ensure high availability and global reach.
- Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize Flutter app performance (60fps animations, memory usage) and backend query efficiency (solving the N+1 problem in GraphQL).
- State Management: Maintain clean, predictable application state using providers like Riverpod, Bloc, or Redux.
You’re a Fit If You
- Are a Flutter Fanatic: You have a deep understanding of the Flutter widget lifecycle, custom painters, and platform channels.
- Think in Graphs: You prefer the flexibility of GraphQL over REST and know how to design schemas that evolve with user needs.
- Are a Node.js Native: You write clean, asynchronous TypeScript and understand how to structure Node.js applications for maintainability
- Understand the "Cloud-First" Mentality: You are comfortable working with AWS ecosystems and understand how to build serverless or containerized applications.
- Value Community UX: You care about the "feel" of an app—smooth transitions, optimistic UI updates, and offline-first capabilities.
Bonus Points
- Experience with AWS Amplify or AppSync for rapid feature prototyping.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Row Level Security (RLS) for community privacy.
- Knowledge of Codemagic or GitHub Actions for mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Active contributions to the Flutter or Dart open-source communities.
